Debido a mi edad y la pérdida del último embarazo, no quería unirme a este potencial bebé demasiado rápido. Obviamente, esto no ha sido bonito y los últimos meses mi familia y yo hemos estado viviendo entre alfileres y agujas esperando la llegada de una serie de resultados de diferentes pruebas y pasando la mayor parte de nuestro tiempo en el hospital», ha publicado la ucraniana junto a una imagen en la que documenta los primeros meses de su embarazo.

Because of my age and losing the last pregnancy I didn’t want to get attached to this potential baby too quickly. That was obviously not fun and the last few months have been my family and I living on pins and needles waiting for a slew of different test results to come in and spending most of our time in doctors offices. Thank goodness we’re in the clear AND we found out that we’ve been blessed with another girl!😆😂🥰 Anyway, wish me and my baby luck! Con el nuevo nacimiento, Ever, de 11 años y Sahiel, de cuatro, darán la bienvenida a su nueva hermana y a una familia numerosa fruto del amor entre Milla y el cineasta británico Paul W. S. Anderson, con el que contrajo matrimonio el 22 de agosto de 2009.
Un aborto
La pareja se conoció durante el rodaje de «Resident Evil», donde ella era la protagonista y Paul el director. Tras 17 años de amor y dos hijos, la pareja vuelve a intentar ampliar la familia a pesar de la última desgracia que les tocó vivir con su último bebé. Hace unos meses, Milla confesó que había sufrido un aborto «horrible» hace dos años tras un parto prematuro. En aquel momento una ley prohibía el aborto en Georgia y la actriz publicó una historia para apoyar la lucha por los derechos de libre aborto.
Milla se encontraba en pleno rodaje en Europa y tuvo que acudir al hospital, donde fue obligada a abortar por razones médicas: «Entré en labor de parto prematuro y me dijeron que tenía que estar despierta durante todo el procedimiento». «Fue una de las experiencias más horribles por las que he pasado. Todavía tengo pesadillas al respecto. Cuando pienso sobre el hecho de que las mujeres tengan que enfrentarse a abortos en condiciones deplorables por las nuevas leyes, mi estómago se me voltea», criticó.

Last Tuesday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a draconian bill into law that outlaws all abortions after six weeks — before most women even realize they’re pregnant — including in cases of RAPE OR INCEST. This makes Georgia the sixth state to pass such a restrictive six-week abortion ban, joining Ohio, Mississippi, Kentucky, Iowa, and North Dakota. These laws haven’t been passed yet, but lawmakers in these states are trying. Abortion is hard enough for women on an emotional level without having to go through it in potentially unsafe and unsanitary conditions. I myself went through an emergency abortion 2 years ago. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant and shooting on location in Eastern Europe. I went into pre term labor and told that I had to be awake for the whole procedure. It was one of the most horrific experiences I have ever gone through. I still have nightmares about it. I was alone and helpless. When I think about the fact that women might have to face abortions in even worse conditions than I did because of new laws, my stomach turns. I spiraled into one of the worst depressions of my life and had to work extremely hard to find my way out. I took time off of my career. I isolated myself for months and had to keep a strong face for my two amazing kids. I started gardening, eating healthier and going to the gym everyday because I didn’t want to jump into taking anti depressants unless I had tried every other alternative. Thank God I was able to find my way out of that personal hell without turning to medication, but the memory of what I went through and what I lost will be with me till the day I die. Abortion is a nightmare at its best. No woman wants to go through that. But we have to fight to make sure our rights are preserved to obtain a safe one if we need to. I never wanted to speak about this experience. But I cannot remain silent when so much is at stake. #prochoice #prochoicegeneration
